by James Wotham Prologue This author has travelled the length and spreade of this worlde to truthfully and respectfully document the lives and characters of the pirates of my time. ‘Tis been a dangerous journey, for pirates are generally a cruel and hot tempered lot. Many a time only the particular pirates vanity and desireFortsæt læsning “Ye truthefull storie of the Blackwell Pirates”

The Fury of Goldemouthe
It’s early in the morning, the ship’s sounds are muffled, the men on duty yawning, knowing they will be relieved and headed for their hammocks sometimes soon, when the call comes: Ship ohoy! The Captain is called – he stands with his monocular a long while, his dark hair tied back with a leather thong,Fortsæt læsning “The Fury of Goldemouthe”
Pyrate poetry
From The National Library of the Republique of Ryendor: These maps where donated along with a sea chest once belonging to the female pirate Fiona Consuela Blackwell. … On the back of a couple of the maps are scriblings that were once thought to be code signs leading to a hidden treasure. Several literary treasureFortsæt læsning “Pyrate poetry”
N’Gote
Fiona’s trusted boatswain N’Gote was played by my BFF Karl Sørensen, who is also a keen writer. He wrote the following as N’gote: N’Gote’s dreams Blood of the Houngan Pictures from the past
Pictures from the past
Early evening. The Querida has cast her anchors in a remote bay to sell her cargo – to somebody who doesn’t ask too many questions… The Santa Corentina is as black as her crew, her past somewhat checkered, once a slaver, now running as a private trader. But they’ll take a cargo without asking whoFortsæt læsning “Pictures from the past”
Blood of the Houngan
My father’s father was houngan, just as his father had been before him. My father’s brother was houngan, but my father was a hunter. So I became a hunter. Now, I am many things; a man, a husband, homeless, a widower, a killer and a thief of a life. But I am still the bloodFortsæt læsning “Blood of the Houngan”
N’Gote’s dreams
He is on deck, the shrouds straining under a full press of sail. Somewhere deep in the south a voice is calling – the voice of the old land, land of his fathers and their fathers. She is screaming, crying, cursing the men who have come to pillage her. They rape her, burn her skin,Fortsæt læsning “N’Gote’s dreams”
Judith Jones
6. Journey
On the 1st day of July we left Glenroran. The night before John Dardell had treated us to some of his finest wine (a Chardonney from 1560!) and a splendid meal. He assured us that we were always welcome in ”The Banshee”, despite our differences in the past. I was sad to bid him goodbye.Fortsæt læsning “6. Journey”
5. War
We lodged in ”The Golden Schooner” for a weeks time. Alex had been feeling poorly since the nasty hit on the head she had suffered in the battle on the ship. She was absentminded and closed-up, so we mostly left her alone. It seemed to be what she wanted most. I think it also botheredFortsæt læsning “5. War”
